Father's Day

For Father's Day we went on a trip into the mountains with some of our friends.   

 The mountain we hiked had many beautiful streams and ponds.

We hiked up "The Heavenly Staircase" which was more tiring then heavenly.

There where lot's of statues on the path the ones that the kids are sitting on represent the 9 dragon babies or something like that.

Everyones favorite part was on the way down when we  went swimming in a swimming hole near the trail.

There was also a small waterfall in the swimming hole which was alot of fun to play under.

 

A quick update on Gloria who has probably grown the most. Gloria can now walk and speaks a few words da-da, bye-bye, and uh oh are her favorite. She's a special with our helper and tries to put on her shoes and pushes out the stroller whenever she wants to go outside (one of her  favorite things to do.)

             Last Saturday, Dad, Dani, Tesha, our chinese tutor, and I went to the Ming Tombs for this month's family outing. First we went to the burial grounds for one of the Ming emperors. He had two wives and lots of riches. We got to see his royal garments, his coffin and, his throne.

Then we went to a walk way with stone animals and people on the sides.

We had lots of fun.

Dani's Birthday

We celberated Dani's 7th birthday on May 27. On her birthday she recieved presents from the family and had a birthday party with another family. She had her birthday cake made at the same place as Tesha's the cake had a big horse in the middle surronded by flowers and apples. 

One of the things Dani really wanted for her birthday was to ride a horse. So the weekend after her birthday we went to the Goose and Duck Farm which was a camp with horse riding, swimming, archery and many other fun activities.
